Looks quite simplistic.Just the eyes and the lips on a white background. But IMHO, it captures the essence of the Joker. I love the menace in his eyes, and the mean smile on his lips. Somehow the dripping effect on his make-up makes it all the more evil. Hope you guys like it.
UPDATE: I know the date on the sketch is wrong. And I can edit, but frankly, I just ain’t bothered

If you are curious about which software I used, FYI, I used GIMP 2.4.5 which perfectly syncs with my Trust TB-7300 Widescreen Tablet. So what do you think about the sketch? Shout out your comments below.

This is basically a mashup of the two styles that Graphic Artist and Legend – Frank Miller is known for. I have taken the Sin City Element and fused it into 300′s King Leonidas. Hope you guys like it.

Just another one of my sketches that I did today on my tablet. I started sketching it in white on black background, and then I realised, why not paint it red. The sketch has some final touches needed to be done before it can be called complete, but I just got bored of it. But hey, this is my first attempt at colouring. Can’t say if you’ll see more colours in the future. Here’s the pic anyway.

After the break, the version before I painted it red.

You know I have been showing off my digital art with the aid of my new Tablet – The Trust TB 7300. And I have been particularly interested in drawing the white on black stuff. It somehow gives an edge over conventional black on white. And I hate colouring. But, the Frank Miller style of art seen in Sin City series, is brilliant. I did get a lot of positive response for my previous sketch of Kira. But, people kept on complaining that I was too inclined towards Jap anime characters, and DC -Marvel Universe is getting neglected. So, here we go. Starting with this one. I have attempted to do a sketch of Wolverine.
Here’s work in Progress – a sketch of the head. Looks like Rorsach’s mask

After the Jump, the full High-Resolution pic of the Sketch of Wolverine. And a Diwali Bonus
