It is pretty much the annual routine now to moan and whine about Bollywood Awards. I mean, the only point they serve is to wind us up, don’t you think? Screen and Zee Cine Awards 2013 nominations are out – and some of it look like the who’s who of WTF. Unlike last year, where I discussed the categories, I will do a summary round up and also come up with my predictions. Here is the full list of nominations . And this is what happened at Filmfare Awards 2012


Filmfare 2012- what does that mean to me and you? Aap ka to pata nahi, but for me, it definitely means a lot of edited emoticons, lols, facepalms, sleepy faces, drooping make ups, fake laughters, lazy applause and SRK’s PJ’s and self-deprecating jokes (to compensate for Ra.One). There are the lacklustre performances spiced up with snazzy Adobe Premiere effects like a Balaji serial. And finally, lots and lots of laughter tracks randomly sprinkled throughout the show. And then, there was yet another B-town award. This time around, it was the Producers Guild awards – a.k.a Apsara Awards. And apparently, Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was the year’s best movie, according to the producers. There are some pleasant surprises, and a lot of facepalm worthy awards.
