So here we are here for the big finale. The final show of the season. To be honest, I have no more interest in the show now that Stacey is no longer in the finals. So, we have Olly vs. Joe for the finals tonight. And in a matter of hours we will get to know the winner of this season’s X Factor. We’ll be there to liveblog it.

Back to the show. The final show continues. The contestants sing their own favourite tracks from the show.

Olly sings – Twist and Shout. Hmm.

Look, I am no more fussed about who wins this competition. I am just fed up with the competition. I just don’t care anymore. And I don’t care if he sings well, or if he dances in that silly Thriller routine. So, best of luck Olly – may you win this.

Like I said before, he is the entertainer, and Joe is the better singer. But Joe is more like music-theatre Broadway musical and not a popstar. So, I guess Olly wins the show. But then, I have been proved wrong on more than one occasion.

Right, back from the break. Cheryl introduces – Joe, who will be singing -Don’t stop Believing. And please, someone stop Cheryl from saying “The Whole Package”.

Right on to the performance. I love love love this song. And if you like Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing, [on a totally different note] try this out – Axis of Awesome: Four Chords. It’s basically a mash up of a lot of hit singles on the same four chords of Don’t Stop Believing. Back to the performance, with this song, Joe is less of a west-end star, and actually a popstar. This should be the kind of songs that he should do, and a spot-on choice.

Louis: You got the voice, the attitude, the charm.

Danny: Definitely the best voice on the stage tonight, no doubt.

Simon: That was a brilliant song choice. Tonight – Brilliant.

Cheryl: Everybody in here believes in you.

Ok, @Daximo exclaimed at the sight of Cheryl’s hair. He thinks that Cheryl has been mugged and dragged through a hedge. A classic case of don’t mess with your hairdresser. LMFAO. And officially we have voted for Joe now.

Back from the break. And oh people. This is the best thing in the show this season. Apart from Stacey’s ” Wonderful World”. A live collaboration of Alexandra and JLS on “Bad Boy”. This is massive and actually, this song is growing on me. And then the massive JLS hit – Everybody in Love. I love love love this performance.

And now for some Leona Love. She’s singing her latest single – Stop Crying Your Heart Out[Thanks to Kevin for correcting me]. Sorry, I was busy somewhere else [in the loo to be precise]. So I really don’t know how Leona’s performance went. It’s break time now, and the Winner’s single – a Miley Cyrus cover nonetheless -The Climb, will be performed next by Olly and Joe. Brb!

The Winner’s single. First up Olly. Lemme tell you – I AM NOT into Miley Cyrus and the -I have a dream – type of songs. So I better shut up on this. And it doesn’t matter what I say right now. I have voted for Joe so that Olly does not win.

Ok, right now they are showing Olly’s family members congratulating him and wishing him best of luck. And all that white background and foggy look makes me think – Are they in heaven?

And now over to Joe’s performance. And hang on, I am wrong here now. Coz, if this is a Miley Cyrus song, this should be the pop songs that are the teens are into these days. And coz Joe is nailing this song, Joe definitely has a big shot at becoming a popstar as well as a Broadway star. Hmmm. And anyway, coz Joe has the better voice and vocal talent – I’ll still say – Go Joe Go Joe!!!

He’s performing Drive My car with the final 12, and that seemed like an Olly song tbh. And we are here in for another one. It’s -Live and Let Die, and the backing singers suck, big time!!

But this song is one helluva grand song. And he may look old, but the man’s still got it!

Phew! That was a stressful journey for me. Liveblogging every week. And now, it’s all gone now, in a moment. I feel nostalgic about the way I got connected to this show, and through this blog, how connected I feel with the X Factor lovers of the show from all over the world. Right, this is SERIOUS BUSINESS tonight. It is the Grand Finale of this year’s X Factor. I know they’ll be shouting it out repeatedly about 200,000 applicants, and it’s now down to 3. They do that every week, don’t they. But no one can ignore the fact that X Factor has become so hugely popular and almost like an integral part of modern day pop culture. It is insanely popular in the States and everywhere else. But hey, let’s stop talking about the show, and concentrate on the three acts – Olly, Stacey and Joe. Now, that is some Finale we are looking forward to.

Last week, we bid goodbye to one of the best vocalists on the show this year – Danyl. It wasn’t a shocker for me, provided the extreme divided public opinion about Danyl. There are people who love, and there are those who hate him. And there is no grey area. This is not a good sign when it comes to competitions like these where to survive you gotta please ‘em all. But then, we can’t say much about it since Jedward and Lloyd had a long innings on the competition – much longer than Rachel and Jamie.

Back to the competition, the format has been changed to have a shocker final tonight. The shocker is that out of the 3 finalists performing tonight, only two will go forward to the Final showdown tomorrow, and one will be eliminated on the show tonight. As per Orange’s X Factor blog, Olly is set to perform with Robbie Williams, Joe with George Michael and Stacey with Michael Buble. Oh, it’s going to be some Finale!

So by the looks of it, this is a very well thought out playlist. Audition song, a star accompanied duet, and finally a song from the series. It is wonderful. So here we are – the show has started.

A quick recap of where it all started, and what we went through – all the horrors, the terrible songs, the wonderful performances and now left with the final 3. Audition – Bootcamp and then weekly elimination – down to – Joe, Olly and Stacey. They are singing three songs – a very tough one.

Simon sees Olly as a complete performer – singing, dancing and all that. Eh! His singing isn’t as strong, and his dancing is silly.

Stacey is awesome. But I can’t see her giving big dance hits [ and that's where the money is].

As for Joe, he has the best vocals no doubt, but he is stuck in my head as a West End singer.

But enough of me, we are Live from the studio [ not physically present there]. Told ya they’d mention that 200,000 number eh! Wow, Dagenham’s crowd support  and Joe’s Southshield support is incredible. Not so much for Olly. Hmm!! Clear message there – Olly is going home tonight. The judges are here. And so are the finalists. One of them will be going home tonight, and only two will be battling out in the Finals tomorrow.

Right, time for Round 1 – Songs from Auditions.

Whilst they do that video montage before her performance, let me just tell you, that the first time I heard her sing that song, I was in complete awe. Let us see if she can recreate the magic. Clearly, entire Dagenham and Essex is supporting her. Bless! She deserves it, all of it.

Over to her performance. Aww, she’s on a chair. Divine is the word, if there is one – for her voice. She’s brilliant. That rendition of that song is brilliant. It has the potential of being the next best selling single, right now. That is perfect. I need not exaggerate any more by adding adjectives. It is just bloody damn perfect. I have no other words to say. Loved every bit of it. Just amazing!!!!

Judges verdict:

Louis: What a transformation. I love everything about you. You’re great.

Cheryl: You look comfortable and you’re just lovely.

Simon: It takes me back to the first time we met. You surprised me then and you continue to surprise me.

Danny: I am very very proud of you! Well done!

Back to the show now. Olly Murs singing – Superstition.

I am sure he’s gonna do that silly dance all over again. But you know what, that song and his rendition was quite good. Let’s see what happens. And then, the popstar moment is here. Thronged by fans, explosions and Robbie Williams -Let Me Entertain You playing in the background. He surely has his following. But don’t count me in that club.

Over to the performance. I can hear his nerves in his vocals. It is a lovely lovely groovy song. His lower notes are very shaky. But the song is just way too good not to like. The routine is sexy – MJ meets Chicago. And the sliding under the ladies -hmm! I don’t know exactly what to say about it. Good job though!

Judges verdict:

Louis: The silly dance we all love. You definitely have the X Factor.

Danny: What a fantastic performance. Spectacular.

Cheryl: You’re an entertainer, and you thoroughly deserve your place.

Simon: On the biggest night of your life, you pulled out the performance of your life.

We are back to the show. Its time for Joe McElderry singing Dance With My Father.

Chants of “We Want Joe” everywhere. The entire family gathering was very heartfelt and God Bless Joe’s Nann. She’s so lovely. He’s got it. He just needs to do it all over again.

Over to the performance: I think Round 1 goes to Stacey. But Joe is definitely not far behind. His vocals are spot on as usual. I have not heard him sing out of tune at all, ever. Awesome!!!

Judges verdict:

Louis: You’ve got better & better & better.

Danny: You’ve got an amazing voice, and what an adorable young man.

Simon: You deserve credit for everything you’ve done over the last few weeks.

Cheryl: This is the moment. Joe, I pray that are in the final tomorrow night.

Time for the Duets now. Stacey now performs with Michael Buble. And the song is – Feeling Good. Oh, a bit shaky vocals. But as soon as the music kicked in, she is gaining confidence. She looks stunning in red. I am more excited to see Mr.Buble sing on this one. It kinda covers the initial little flaws. Good thing this. I love love this song. I would totally pay to see this live in a concert. Awesome Awesome. I am watching this on repeat. And aww, she hugged him!! Woohooo!! That was explosive stuff.

Stacey’s code: 01. Stacey is leading as of now. And no judges verdict for this one. I’d like to see Louis and Simon judge Mr. Buble

2nd finalist – Olly Murs – singing Angels – with who else but Robbie Williams. He should suit up more often, rather than wearing those extremely tight trousers, and start singing more. And Robbie is in the house now, singing with Olly. They look like brothers in suits – hmm, not like Blues Brothers – more like Reservoir Dogs No, just kidding. This has more flares than the previous song, but the performance of the previous one was much better. Oooh, Robbie is rooting for Olly.

Finally, Joe’s here next singing Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me with wait for it- George Michael. And people, Sauron’s eye is back!! And OMG, it is for real – George Michael is here. I’m a big fan of George Michael. He is one of the best vocalists ever. But this performance is going a bit lacklustre compared the previous ones. No, just kidding again! I really can’t believe this – George Michael performing with Joe. Phew! That’s huge stuff. *Bows and Standing Ovation to George Michael*

Time for Round 3:

Stacey sings Queen – Who Wants To Live Forever. Massive song. And I loved it the first time. And this is very big stage Diva or should I say, Beyonce and Leona-esque. Very grand. This song has been a rock classic and now it’s being sung by a X Factor winner in the making. I love this version too. The backing vocals are well arranged, and the whole grand stadium rock has not been toned down at all. After all it was a signature Freddie Mercury song. And Stacey has definitely nailed it. Amazing. Truly amazing. She couldn’t have done better.

Judges verdict:

Louis: Very few people can sing Freddie Mercury.

Cheryl: You look incredible, you sound incredible.

Simon: You smashed it.

Danny: I’m happy for you, I’m proud of you.

Phew, that was an awesome one. It was just awesome. People, make her win.

Next Olly Murs singing – Fool in Love. Olly just enjoys doing such big choreographed routines. And we enjoy being entertained. He’s a true entertainer, no doubt. Very intelligent song choice Simon. This was actually one of Olly’s strongest performance. And he’s doing it now all over again. That was great!

Judges verdict:

Louis: That was my favourite song of you throughout this season. You’ve got the X Factor.

Danny: So good to see that again.

Cheryl: That was amazing to see.

Simon: Thanks the 3 stars – Buble, George Michael and Robbie. And then he says – I’m so proud of you Olly.

Why is Dermot saying – could be his last performance on the show. That’s not fair!

Anywho, time for Joe. He’s singing Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word. And I remember exactly how I felt about it the first time I heard it. It was brilliant. Just in a different league completely. It’s just perfect – perfect song choice, perfect vocals, perfect performance. That was what we call – Smashing it.

Judges verdict:

Louis: You’re  a very natural popstar.

Danny: An absolutely stunning performance.

Simon: I think you’re special. What a great singer you’ve become!

Cheryl: I absolutely adore you.

So there you go, all performances done tonight. And oh btw, it’s British Comedy Awards tonight after the X Factor. I’ll definitely be watching that. Don’t worry, I’ll be liveblogging the XTra Factor too simultaneously.

A quick recap of the performances tonight.

Round 1: Stacey was the winner in this round. Olly was good, but Joe was better. Round 1 was all Stacey for me.

Round 2: Stacey brought Sexy back with Buble, Olly with Robbie was awesome, and Joe with George Michael was amazing. Not a clear winner of Round 2, but I think I liked Stacey and Buble more.

Round 3: Stacey all the way . You can’t top Who Wants To Live Forever.

Hold on, Olly’s performance just notched up another level of Sexy, and then Joe pulled out his ace of spades – Sorry seems to be the hardest word. Hmm. I declare Draw.

So, tallying everything up – Joe and Stacey will be going to the finals tomorrow, and I predict Stacey to win.

And tonight, one performance goes home, just short of one show from the finals. And judging by the performances last night, I predict that it is going to be Olly who’ll be heading home tonight.

So we are back with the show. Lady Gaga performing – Bad Romance. And as expected from the Queen of Over-The-Top, she is dressed in something which can only be stated as – Cubism. And oh those are detachable. And she and her dancers are dancing in a Bath Tub – massive one. And she’s got Spock ears The choreography of the routine is very Catwoman. Not one of my favourite singles of her – I like Poker Face and Let’s Dance. Even Paparazzi is quite awesome. But I do get the feeling that Lady Gaga concerts should be absolutely crazy.

Danny and Cheryl show a standing ovation. Lady Gaga says the bath is Simon’s. Hehe!! Lady Gaga has been nominated for 5 Grammies, and she’s gonna perform at London O2 next year for two shows. Hmm, worth considering–maybe!

Right. Semi-Finals. We are here. And so are you. Simon still has two acts – Olly and Danyl. Cheryl has Joe and Danny has Stacey. As I said before Joe outperforms everyone else in the competition. But only 3 places in the finals, it’s really nerve wrecking. And I hate when people [by that I mean Simon] say – they need to give their 150%. Ugh, that is bloody impossible. And btw, when did a 100% stop being complete. I’m just a bit too sensitive when it comes to statistics. Anywho! It’s Michael Jackson night tonight. Dermot and the judges have taken their positions. The judges enter to the music of Thriller. I like Cheryl’s hair, but what the eff is she wearing? And Danny has taken all of Santa’s cloth. A quick AV tribute of MJ right from his Jackson 5 days to Thriller to Billie Jean, Beat It, Smooth Criminal, Black or White, Scream. 1958-2009. RIP.

Janet Jackson is performing tomorrow night. But to kick off the night – Olly Murs is singing – Can You Feel It!

It is indeed quite a bad feeling to think about someone leaving the competition at this stage. But let’s see how he performs.

His voice is pitchy, and shaky. Again, lemme put it straight. He CANNOT dance. And there is a Lady Gaga impersonator in the dance group who is totally stealing the thunder. And what was that in the name of a Moonwalk. Back to the singing – he sounds like he’s out of breathe. I don’t think it is a good song choice.

Now based on how much people like him, Olly isn’t going home.

Judges verdict:

Louis: You’re an all-round entertainer.

Danny: We can all feel it in the room. You HAVE to be in the final.

Cheryl: I hope to see you in the final.

Simon: I just cannot imagine you not being there in the final.

That was NOT a good performance at all by any standards. His audition performance of Superstition was way better. And please, for people who like his dancing, I think your standards are quite low.

And we are back with the show. Cheryl introduces – Joe Mc Elderry. He’s singing She’s Out Of My Life.

He is always note perfect. Don’t worry Joe – you’ll do awesome.

He emotes perfectly through his voice. His vocals is just so full of emotions. He is just in a totally different class. @Daximo sez: I’d buy his album tomorrow …..and pay for it as well There is one thing about Joe – when he sings, we shut up, and listen. That falsetto was AWESOME. That was FANTASTIC!! Bloody FaNTASTIC.

Judges verdict:

Louis: You absolutely made it your own. You can sell millions of records.

Danny: You just sing like a dream. I can hear you all over the radio.

Simon: You are just getting better and better and better. One of the best versions of the song. I’m really proud of you.

Cheryl: It was chilling.

You just can’t stay anything bad about him. Compare that with Olly. Pffft!! Joe FTW!!!

Next up: Danny introduces – Stacey Solomon singing The Way You Make Me Feel. Wooohoooo!!

That is my favourite Michael Jackson song of all time. I just want her to belt this out into an awesome awesome version.

Ooooh. Very Jazz cabaret! Love this arrangement. She is soooo IN THE FINALs!! I love the trumpet, love the hat, love the sexy image. But the backing singers are a bit pants. They are letting her down.

Just a bit pitchy in the end. I wished her to have gone a bit falsetto. But the routine was good.

Judges verdict:

Louis: I didn’t think the song suited you.

Cheryl: I disagree. Talk about Yummy Mommy!!

Simon: It was fine, it wasn’t just you. It was gimmicky, and silly. It was too cabaret.

Danny: This look suits you.

Get your eyes and ears checked Simon n Louis. That was way better than Olly. YES I MEAN IT. And bless her, she said she enjoyed performing the chair routine. Woohooo!!!!

Back to the show.  Danyl Johnson performs – Man In The Mirror.

That is indeed one of THE MJ songs. He has the right song. Let’s see if he nails it or blows his one chance.

He sounds unusually husky. The visual behind talks about Global Warming and climate changes. The choir accompanying him is awesome. And let me tell you, I think Danyl is totally nailing it. Very very groovy and he was totally into it. Great job.

Judges verdict:

Louis: This is a singing contest. On your vocal – Incredible.

Danny: I love that song. I was confused with the polar bear.

Cheryl: Was it the Earth song? But on to the performance – that was great.

Simon: That was incredible. Absolutely on the money.

Ugh, shut up you all. Let’s focus on the vocals. And with that performance, I think Olly is in danger.

But Round 1 goes to – definitely Joe McElderry.

Now back to Round 2. Mentors choose the ONE song for the finals. No theme. Just one song. [ Pffft, enough of build up]

Olly sings – We Can Work It Out by Stevie Wonder. This is the zone where Olly is most comfortable. The bass, the drums and the chorus to accompany his vocals. But someone tell him to make a fool of himself by dacing in those absolutely tight trousers and embarassing himself. And that mirror technique- that’s a gimmick Simon copied from Aidan Davis from Britain’s Got Talent. I think Olly is trying too hard, and he ran out of breathe. Thaaaat was yuck!!

Judges verdict:

Louis: It was really really good.

Danny: I’m not sure if that song showed your vocals. The dancing was spectacular [ What?]

Cheryl: I’ve always liked you.

Simon: You thoroughly deserve your place in the Finals next week.

Olly, straight advice – just bloody stop dancing. You CANNOT dance. Timberlake he can dance. Jackson – he can dance. Olly – you CANNOT dance. And do some breathing exercise. Anywho next up – Joe.

He is singing Open Arms – Journey. I love that song and I know that Joe can do wonders with this one. His voice is just on a totally different level than all other contestants.  There is not a single note that feels uncomfortable. As Simon once said [ in American Idol, or was it Randy Jackson] – You can sing the Phone Book [ I think it was Paula].

That LONG ASS note was kick ass. That vibrato was ready to be recorded and sold as a single.

Judges verdict:

Louis: You were born to do this. You deserve to be in the finals.

Danny: You’re making everyone love you.

Simon: It was brilliant. [ Simon is insulting Journey by saying no one knows that song. ]

Cheryl: I felt really nervous for you before this performance. You reminded everyone how consistently good you’ve been.

C’mon Danyl. Show us that you deserve that place in the Finals. It’s a risky song. I don’t know why Simon chose a Whitney song. I don’t like the performance. The voice is good, and all that. And yes he’s way better than Olly. But it is not a very likeable song at all.. by no means. Bad song choice.

Judges verdict:

Louis: You totally deserve to be in the finals.

Danny: Really really good performance.

Cheryl: I wish you the best to be in the finals.

Simon: I genuinely believe, you absolutely deserve your place in the finals.

Hmm, it is going to be a close race between Danyl and Olly to be knocked out from the competition [ Unless we have a major shocker in the results tomorrow].

Hannah thinks Louis is her favourite judge. Question to Simon – Is Simon arguing with Louis on Telly just for publicity, but in real life, they are actually good mates.

Sue thinks she is Simon’s nightmare. Sue thinks that it was Simon’s cunning way that he complemented Joe way too much to make people believe that he is anyway safe, and hence receive less votes. Cheeky Simon could be doing anything.

So this week, they call it – the week when the singing got noticed. So, X Factor is finally back to being a Singing competition. Hmm. Err, I’d say not so fast. Not until Lloyd is still here in the competition. Last night, we got to hear him twice and both of his performances were horrendous. Absolutely awful. But enough of Lloyd. We saw Danyl dance, Stacey gave two smashing performances and Olly singing a classy ballad. And to top it all, Joe nailed his performance – twice. His performance of “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” was absolutely intense and heartfelt.

As far as my predictions for the night:

Bottom 2: Lloyd Daniels and Danyl Johnson

I choose Danyl over Olly because there are still a lot of people who get really annoyed with Danyl (no matter how hard he tries to be likeable).

Eliminated: (Please God) Lloyd Daniels.

Voting Lines are still open. The judges have now entered the studio. And surprisingly tonight Danny is sporting a Jedward hairdo. Or may be a Rachel. Now for the ensemble performance of the finalists. They are singing – I Don’t Feel Like Dancing by the Scissor Sisters. Everyone is singing in falsetto. And lemme tell you this – that is SO MIMED. And if you see the dance, I like Olly’s performance on the whole. I know I am self-contradicting myself. Or am I? That ensemble was quite enjoyable, although I know it for sure it wasn’t live.

She’s good, but she’s not Top3 . Kiddin! Love this song, and she is actually one of those few female artistes whose music I really follow. And she’s added No One in the end too. The new single – Doesn’t Mean Anything releases tomorrow, and the album releases Dec 14. And Alicia thinks the only woman in the competition is dope

And she’s aping Rachel now I wonder what Simon and Louis would have to say about her performance.  Its actually a boring song. I don’t see myself or any of the friends buying it. Will you be buying this one? Eh! The judges have to oblige her performance/appearance and they have given her a standing ovation.

Just a week to go for the Semi-Finals now. And we are still stuck with Lloyd, and tonight we get to bear him twice. Yes, singing Elton John and Take That songs are the Quarter Finalists of The X Factor tonight. Last week, we finally saw the farewell of the Irish legends that were – John & Edward, ‘lovingly’ known as Jedward. With just two weeks away from the finale, tensions rising. And with the Christmas season on full swing, the X Factor publicity team is going full on with the merchandising. Look what I found today at Bh’s.

Well, I was actually tempted to buy the Milk Chocolate Bar – coz they looked like Malteser’s [my fav].But that’d have meant more money in Simon’s pockets. So, I said hmm. NO.

Right, we are on with the show. The announcer says – the competition is now serious. Hehe!! So everyone knows Jedward were all farce and no talent. Simon says – everyone deserves to be here, now is the time to prove themselves as stars. Let’s start with the Quarter Finals people. Each contestant sings two songs tonight. The judges have entered the studio. And as usual – Cheryl has put on some weird looking Golden Wrap-what she calls as Dress of the night. Look at Simon giggling away.

The contestants will be singing Take That songs first. Kicking off the show is Danyl. Singing – Relight My Fire.

Some promotion of the new X Factor charity single hitting the charts as the new no.1. This is named as Danyl Johnson’s first dance number. His first up-tempo number. Anywho, over to the performance. His voice is sounding extremely stylish. I am not sure I like to see him making those funny expressions. And he does sound a bit nasal. But dude, he’s dancing. The choreography is working, but the voice doesn’t impress me in this song. I’d rather listen to Danyl singing Careless Whisper. But who cares, he seems to have a good time. And he has shown he can dance, and sing, not necessarily in the same performance though.

Judges verdict:

Louis: What a great start to the show. You can sing, you can dance. I’m glad that you got the Mojo back.

Danny: Amazing production, amazing performance. But that body-role. Errmmm

Cheryl: You made that look pretty effortless.

Simon: You were foot-perfect, you were note-perfect. I am very very happy with that performance.

Up next: Lloyd Daniels. He’s singing – Million Love Songs.

Oh God, help me. He’s singing two songs tonight. He’s singing a ballad for Christ sake. And he’s drained out all the melody from it. All I can hear is the tween crowd screaming loud so that pretty Lloyd doesn’t feel embarrassed over his poor vocals. It is the same crowd which thronged at the theatres screening Twilight making one of the biggest blockbusters of all time. Ok, I am a bit lost tonight. I don’t know where I am going with this performance. I think I have turned a deaf ear to his performance. I just don’t appreciate him at all.

Judges verdict:

Louis: I think singing was pretty good, but not great.

Danny: Don’t complicate your melodies at all. You’re making things tougher for yourself.

Simon: Great choice of song. Its a teen pop song. On the second song I need to see more effort.

Cheryl: They just loved that (pointing to the tweens).

His voice has failed to impress me over the last two weeks. Please make me think otherwise. He’s singing a ballad for a change. And yes, he’s singing a lot better than he was last week. It’s actually a good performance. Best performance of the night so far. And he’s ended that with a great long note. Great job.

Judges verdict:

Louis: That song totally suited you. I think you deserve to be in the final 3.

Danny: Sparkle was not quite in the eyes of that performance.

Cheryl: I am looking forward to hearing you sing in Round2.

Simon: You did a great job tonight. No sulking, no complaining, you just got on with it.

Well, we can hear the audience going mad about him. His code: 03. He’s definitely going to be in the Semis.

Second of the boys up next: Joe McElderry: Singing – Could It Be Magic.

He’s definitely the best male vocalist on the show. But his song choice demands him to hit the high notes. Let’s see how he does it. Every single time he sings, its pitch perfect. There has not been a single performance where his voice was pitchy or flat. The choreography is a cross between West End musical and Lady Ga-Ga. And well, did you hear that Long Ass High Note. Ok, lemme say it again – Best One of the Night.

Judges verdict:

Louis: Could it be magic, It was magic.

Danny: Joe, you are flying high. You absolutely smashed it. I can see you in the final.

Simon: It was absolutely brilliant. That production was absolutely fantastic. You were the star of that performance.

Cheryl: Listen to that reaction.

I loved that performance. His code: 04. He’ll deffo make it in the Semi-Finals.

What a statement that is!!  Its such fun to just watch her prep out-take videos. And its a delight to hear her sing. Over to the performance. Perfect song choice for her. Right now, we are witnessing a Star being born. Right, the vocalists are belting out their Long High Notes. And Stacey did hers. Bad Ass, Kick Ass!! Awesome performance.

Judges verdict:

Louis: I think you are getting better and better. You absolutely did it for me.

Cheryl: You’re the only girl left. Represent.

Simon: I thought it was very believable, perfect song choice.

Danny: That was an amazing performance. Incredible support for Dagenham’s Diva!!

Back from the break. Louis believes Joe knocked everyone out in Round 1. Off to Round 2. To kick off Round 2 – Lloyd Daniels singing – I’m Still Standing. Some cheeky comments by Louis Walsh. But then that’s Louis being himself. Over to the performance. That’s a very Chiago-esque routine. But again, where the eff is the music, where is the melody???? Sounds like he’s already given up. It’ s a joyous song. I think Cheryl desperately created that obstacle to say that he overcame it.

Judges verdict:

Louis: That was just about Karaoke.

Danny: A fantastic production. Vocally, still shaking in bits. Better than the first one.

Simon: It didn’t suit you. Amateur drama production.

Cheryl: I am very proud of you for coming out every week and performing.

Next up: Danyl Johnson – singing “Your Song”.

A very very high note to kick off the song. Ok, I have heard him a lot of song over the period of this competition. And I can say this now comfortably. That Danyl is a great singer, but I don’t think that I like his flavour of vocals. I won’t be buying his records, or buying tickets to see him at a Live concert. It’s a better performance than his first one. No dance, more singing. But there’s something annoying about the way he pronounces his words. Just doesn’t work for me I guess. That was a good performance though. And even Cheryl is giving him a standing ovation.

Judges verdict:

Louis: It wasn’t karaoke. I loved everything about it, except the choir.

Danny: A really good version of the song, much better than the first one.

Cheryl: It was good, you look confident.

Simon: That wasn’t good, that was sensational.

Okay, next up – Olly Murs singing Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting). Simon calls it the only Butch song by Elton John.

The routine’s theme has made Olly look like an announcer at a Boxing match. He’s in the ring, with the mike hanging from the top, and chicks in two pieces displaying Round No banners. Its a good performance actually. But the loud chorus makes me feel suspicious about who’s singing the chorus line. But it’s a good performance – quite sexy to be honest.

Judges verdict:

Louis: I like your funny dancing, but there was something missing.

Danny: Round 1 was okay, Round 2 was absolute fun! Absolutely a Smash.

Cheryl: Knock out performance.

Simon: It was the Olly we really loved back in the competition. Very very happy with you.

His code: 03. That was a very good performance. Great job.

Cheryl introduces – Joe. A bit of a ridicule of Louis. Great fun! But back to Joe singing – Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word.

This is one of those iconic Elton John songs. I have heard this been sung by Elton John, and in another dimension by Fantasia (American Idol winner). And now been sung by Joe, just brings back all those memories when I first heard those versions. He’s got such a bloody brilliant voice. He’s the act the beat. He’s definitely nailed it – every fraking time.

Judges verdict:

Louis: You won Round 1 for me. With that performance, you won Round 2.

Danny: There hasn’t been a song sung in this competition with that amount of emotion, as that performance.

Simon: I am absolutely godsmacked by that. I really am. What you did with that song was so simple, but it was so beautiful.

Cheryl: I am so proud of you. You deserve your place in the final.

Boy Oh Boy. I would definitely watch that performance on repeat (I donno how many times) tonight. That was the best performance in the competition of the night.

Closing the night – Stacey Solomon singing Something About The Way You Look Tonight

Accompanied by the Piano, and looking gorgeous in a red dress. Her voice is stunning, STUNNING. I think that is Celine Dion stuff. Serious! And the fans on the hair, the smoke, the little moves – all add up to the sexiness. And the vocals – NAILED IT.

Judges verdict:

Louis: You certainly deserve to be in the Final 3. But Round 1 more than Round 2.

Cheryl: You did a great job there.

Simon: You’re not a singer like Leona and Alexandra. That to me doesn’t do you justice.

Danny: That was brilliant Stacey

Watching ITV2 XTra Factor now. Will be posting a few gossip and scoops from the audience calls for the Judges. BTW, Hollie’s eye make-up is a bit Egyptian. Hollie feels the night belongs to Joe, and so does Louis – by a mile – followed by Danyl and Stacey.

Someone called Jenny left 100 messages on XFactor answer machine.
Jenny asks Stacey being the only girl in the competition, it is unfair to make her sing Elton John and Take That songs. Jenny feels sorry for Stacey. Awww!! She’s voting for Jenny! Yayyy!!

Louis is being criticised for being overtly critical about Lloyd. Well, he’s a bit pants to be honest. So there you go.

Oh yeah, there is a rumour about Eminem being a guest judge. And officially Simon says it – Em, the job’s yours!

Jayme asks Louis what he does in his spare time now that he doesn’t have any acts in the show. And Jayme also says – Stacey to win!!!

I think the show has lost its Mojo. I am serious about it. I have lost all enthusiasm about the show after Jamie’s elimination last week. And although I do care about Stacey, Joe and Danyl’s performances every week, I am still gutted by the presence of the twins and Lloyd. SO, if either of them is not eliminated this week, I will be extremely disappointed with this show, and trust me, there is going to be a way in which I will show my protest for this show. Which brings us to the result night tonight. It was Wham night last night, and Danyl gave us a performance to remember – Careless Whisper. That performance was amazing. Of course Joe nailed his performance yet again, but Stacey’s vocals fell flat for the first time. And now, I am tired of Olly. As for the remaining two, I’m not even bothered to talk about them.

Anyway, we will be liveblogging the results tonight – live at 8pm London time. See you guys then.

We are live from London for the results of the X Factor. Last night we saw Danyl burn the stage with the scorching rendition of Careless Whisper. And Joe smashed his performance of – Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me. Apart from that I can barely remember any of the other performances. Let’s hope that the better performers stay safe, and either of Lloyd or the twins go home. Olly wasn’t good at all last night. Tonight 6 will become 5, and also the star performances of the night – Susan Boyle, and as claimed by the announcer- the world’s most successful female act – Mariah Carey. The voting lines are still open, and they end just before Mariah’s performance.

The X Factor judges have entered the studio. And I am guessing the contestant ensemble will be – Wake me Up, Before You Go Go.

How correct was I! Lloyd is sounding much better than last night. And talking of Wham night, I do think that Jamie would be completely out of place on this week. Love the pairing of Joe and Stacey. And Jedward are pretty much wooden. Olly actually has better vocals than yesterday. And I love Stacey as always.

And just for the sake of some publicity, X-Factor charity single is  No.1, and Leona’s album is no.1 as well.  X Factor finalist tour kicks of next year. Blah Blah! Time for a recap of last night.

Lloyd: Poor Poor Poor. C’mon kid, you can’t sing. Go home.

Stacey: Her high notes were definitely spot-on, but the performance overall was average. But I believe she’s more diva performance than pop idol. I mean, she hasn’t given a contemporary dance number.

Jedward: Let’s move on.

Danyl: Best of the night.

Olly: I think Olly is not safe tonight. That was not good.

Joe: Robots_ tweeted me that Joe was performing in front of the Eye of the Sauron. Hence, his performance was a killer one.

Time for the first Star performance of the night. Susan Boyle

We have all witnessed the transformation of Susan Boyle from an old Scottish maid to become an international music sensation. And she is now this huge performer and it’s lovely to see her become so successful and to have made it not only in the UK, but also in the US.  She is performing – Wild Horses, her new single from her debut album – I Dreamed a Dream – releasing Monday. She looked very beautiful in her black dress and her performance was even more beautiful and heartfelt.

Simon’ predicting Jedward and Lloyd to be in the bottom 2. Mariah Carey up next – singing her single – I Wanna Know What Love Is.

The stage is shimmering, and her microphone stand is all covered in diamonds is it? I guess this is the new R&B rendition of Mariah’s single. I have never been a big fan of Mariah, but I won’t change the channel if it was on the radio. It’s good and the chorus is hummable. Sorry, I don’t know this song. The choir works for me. I can see Leona giving a killer performance of this song. Or even Kelly Clarkson.  OMG!!! That falsetto was unbelievable. I haven’t seen anything like that. Sorry, I take it all back. Mariah fraking rocked it. That was BRILLIANT. That falsetto in the end – was BRILLIANT. She has just shown how it’s done. Awesome Mariah. That was awesome.

Back from the break. Louis says he’s shocked. And so is Simon. Louis’ acts up first-John & Edward. I am sure their performance is going to be totally out of tune.

It is the closest they have come to singing. And it is soooo out of tune. The lyrics actually mean a lot given their situation. Take a closer look at the lyrics. I know they are just young guys having their shot at fame, but the fact is, that was horrible. If that was even an audition – Louis would reject them.

Next up – Olly Murs.

Something is wrong Olly, or is it me? His vocals aren’t good enough for me. His falsetto was shaky. His high notes weren’t powerful. That was average at best. But it still qualifies as miles better than Jedward. Simon is coughing, or did he whisper something to Cheryl. Decision time for the judges.

Simon: I am gonna miss you boys. But I am gonna send you guys home – John & Edward.

Cheryl: The act I have to send home is John & Edward.

Louis: I can’t believe that Olly is in the bottom 2 and Lloyd is safe. But I will send Olly home.

Danny:  She is confused about wht the frak is this competition. She sends home – John & Edward.

FINALLY, the twins go home tonight.

They have been the centre of attention from the media, and the press has been after them. So much negative press, and even after that, they have given performance after performance. Good for them. So there you go, that was the legend of Jedward.

It’s Wham Week tonight on The X Factor. Woohoo. After the shocker elimination of Jamie Archer last week, only 6 remain to perform tonight to the immortal Wham tracks. George Michael included ie. I am sick and tired of the Deadlock situation which has been happening on the last 3 results nights. And I want Lloyd to go home. It is bloody high time. Yes, I want to drive him away from the X Factor, even more than the twins. Coz he is just crap!

And as far as the  best performances are concerned – Stacey and Joe just nailed their performances. Just top notch. Anywho, enough of living in the past, let’s focus on tonight’s show.

We are live with the liveblog people. Welcome all. It’s Wham night tonight. I want Lloyd to run out of his luck soooo bad. Him singing Faith – ugh. Pffft to the judges with the big promises and all. To be honest, after Jamie’s elimination last week, the show has lost all Mojo. Anywho, back to the show. Dermot has entered the studio and so  has the four judges – Louis, Danny, Cheryl and Simon. What use are they if they keep on leaving the acts to be judged by the Deadlocked – Tween girls audience. And btw, Cheryl is looking absolute LOL stuff.

Stepping into the spotlight first- from Cheryl’s boys, it’s Lloyd Daniels singing – Faith. The X Factor charity single has been released, and a bit of HMV promotion to go with that. And Lloyd finds singing Faith tough. Really? It’s one of the easiest George Michael songs to sing. Oh for Christ sake.

He’s got a new haircut. Simon is about to throw up. I still hate the vocals and he cannot deliver even such a vocally non-challenging song. He’s really tune-deaf. The song is a very safe choice. Coz the song carries itself. Nothing to do for Lloyd. Now, if Twilight can earn the biggest single day grosser ever, Lloyd can certainly win the X Factor. Ugh

Judges verdict:

Danny: You just need to bring the Wow moment.

Louis: I love everything except for the voice.

Simon: Actually, Lloy, that surprised me, that wasn’t bad at all ( And the girls cheer, ugh!)

Cheryl: You look adorable, and your most comfortable performance.

Louis spoke something very true. There are better singers in the competition. But again, Louis is saying that – the mentor of the twins

Back to the show. Up next – Danny introduces the only girl in the competition- Stacey Solomon.

I just love hearing her talk, sing, perform. She’s such a nice girl. She is singing – I Can’t Make You Love Me. Seeing her worried face actually raises her cuteness factor. Ok, over to the performance. Her voice is a bit pitchy tonight. I hate to say this, but it is not working. This song is such a wrong song for her. Only Danny seems to recognise this song other than Danny. Stacey’s vocals are falling a bit flat, and although I love her to bits, this is not one of her strongest.

Judges verdict:

Louis: You’ve definitely got the Star Factor. That was an incredible song choice.

Cheryl: That was a great song choice for you . ( Are we watching the same show?)

Simon: You’re one of the genuinely nice person on this show ( We agree!). First part – a bit clumsy. ( Finally, someone agrees)

Danny: You have to believe that your dreams will come true – coz they will.

Stacey is shaking . Aww bless!! Her code is – 02. She’s not very eloquent. But all she needs to is to sing. And the audience love her. I think Olly has got a tough challenge. Time or another break. Back in a bit.

Back to the show. Dermot is taking the piss of Louis Walsh by referring to him as the Rule Book man.

Anyway, here’s John & Edward. They are performing  - I am Your Man. Enough has been said and talked about them. I have had enough of it. Let’s go straight to the performance shall we?

Choreography-wise they always deliver week after week. Vocaaly – as atrocious as always. And what’s with all that rapping. And hang on – 50% of the track is pre-recorded with the chorus high note falsettos. I’m done.

Judges verdict:

Danny: The singing was in tune (Really? Danny, get your ears checked!)

Cheryl: No matter what happens from here, you should be really proud of yourself.

Simon: Perfect song choice. But Louis is giving you way too much.

Louis: I want people to vote for you.

Simon adds, you’ve converted a lot of people. You are relentless, like some unstoppable machine. Ugh!!! Imagine them winning Simon. Imagine – Leona, Alexandra …Jedward? Sounds fun innit!!

Their code: 03. Vote, if you want it.

Next up – No frills, no gimmicks, just singing – Danyl Johnson. He’s singing – Careless Whisper. Hmm!

That’s a nice song. And let’s see how he performs it. Let’s hope he doesn’t juggle around with the microphone. It is THE George Michael song to sing. Let’s hope he does it well. Over to the performance.

Like the arrangement. But I am not a fan of his breathing technique. I think I am liking it. I believe this can be the winner’s single this year. This arrangement works wonders for him. Absolute projection of Danyl’s wonderful vocals. No back up, no instruments – just a bass guitar and piano. It’s just BRILLIANT. I think Danyl has topped his audition act. He knows the song through and through, and technically, that was absolutely awesome. Good job.

Judges verdict:

Danny: Very original version of that song. Brilliant.

Louis: I think you tried too hard with that song. Simon is making it very difficult for you.

Cheryl: That was a flat performance. (Really Cheryl, pffft!!!!)

Simon: I think we were listening to two different choices. That was what I call respecting the song.

That was pound for pound, penny for penny, the best cover version of that song. Absolute Stadium Concert stuff. Danyl has got the Phone Vote face now. Hehehehe. I don’t like it – a bit creepy. Anyway vote for him. His code – 04. Back in a bit from the break.

Back to the show. Time for – Olly Murs.

He’s singing  - Fast Love. I like this song, and in a way it fits Olly’s singing style. He went to his office, and sat on his work desk. And well, made all his ex-colleagues burn in envy. Over to the performance.

Nothing wow about the vocals. The choreography is a bit too flashy and all those babes dressed like mosquitoes with pom poms is just funny. Nothing memorable about it. Just seems like a filler performance played during the loo-break of a long concert. Or even an early morning slot in a music fest. He seems out of breathe and dry-mouthed.

Judges verdict:

Danny: Olly, Olly , Olly. You know how to work the audience.

Louis: You have the potential to be the new popstar in the UK.

Cheryl: You’ve got a broad appeal to you.  You always come out and deliver.

Simon: You are turning into a really good fearless entertainer.

He is a good entertainer. But his vocals have faded in the last few weeks. He needs to better that. And that silly dancing of his – just a bit lame. But then, what do I know. I am not a 16 year old teenage girl.

Olly’s code: 05. After the break, the last performance of the night- Joe. C u in a bit.

Back from the break for the closing performance – Joe McElderry. He’s singing – Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me.

Joe loves when Cheryl stands up for him and shuts up the two men – Louis and Simon. Over to the performance.

When it comes to controlled vocals, Joe’s the man. He never disappoints. His voice is so much better than Olly’s. A definite entry into the finals Joe. Lovely vocals. And for Louis – there is no choir this week. Just a funny thing though – the backdrop shows something which resembles like the Dark Matter from – The Fifth Element.

Judges verdict:

Danny:- Missed her comment, sorry.

Louis:- That is the best performance of the night. But that is an Elton John song.

Simon: We are gonna stop you from speaking (to Louis). Yes, Simon is investing in him.

Cheryl: You definitely nailed it.

Lovely performance by Joe. Just brilliant- and THAT’s usual for him. His code -06. Voting lines are NOW open.
